What is ADHD?
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a chronic condition characterised by difficulties with attention, impulsiveness, and hyperactivity. It often involves emotional, sleep, and eating dysregulation, and can affect both children and adults. ADHD is one of the most common psychiatric disorders.
At ADHD Global Care, We offer comprehensive ADHD assessments and individualized care, which may include therapies such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). Where clinically appropriate, licensed psychiatrists may provide medical treatment as part of ongoing care.
What is Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)?
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition affecting communication, social interaction, and behaviour. Individuals with ASD may experience sensory sensitivities and have unique patterns in routines and interests. Because ASD exists on a spectrum, it presents differently for each person, with varying support needs.
We offer comprehensive assessments to determine if someone has ASD, conducted by our experienced professionals. We also provide customised support strategies and therapies to help individuals with ASD lead fulfilling, independent lives.

Dr. Martinez, a Consultant Psychiatrist with ADHD Global Care, brings extensive experience in general adult psychiatry, specialising in Adult ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Telepsychiatry. With a commitment to thorough, evidence-based diagnosis, he has provided psychiatric care in diverse countries and cultural settings since 2008. His dedication to comprehensive assessments, now also encompassing ASD evaluations, has marked his professional journey. Dr. Martinez has contributed significantly to leading institutions, including Mercy University Hospital (Cork, Ireland), Hospital General de Catalonia (Barcelona, Spain), and Neuropsychiatric Hospital (Córdoba, Argentina).

Dr. Jahan Khan, a highly experienced consultant psychiatrist, has over 12 years of clinical expertise. Beginning in general medicine, he built a strong foundation in physical health before specializing in psychiatry through the UCD Psychiatry Scheme. Dr. Khan has worked at top hospitals in Ireland, including St. Vincent's, St. Patrick's, Beaumont, and St. John of God. Specializing in Adult ADHD, he is registered with the Irish Medical Council and is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the UK and Ireland. Dr. Khan also completed postgraduate training in clinical leadership and public management.

He has worked in specialist mental health services including St James hospital, Tallaght university hospital and St Patrick's university hospital. Dr Asghar has completed Fellowship in Adult ADHD from college of psychiatrist of Ireland.

As a Chartered member of the Psychological Society of Ireland, she provides evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for ADHD, along with ASD assessments. Dr. Péndola offers individual sessions and support for families and couples as needed, creating a space to explore the impact of ADHD and ASD on patients' lives. Her goal is to help clients build coping strategies, resilience, and a greater sense of well-being.
